Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of ADH Image Compressor — including the website at compress.americandesignhub.com, the Developer API, the browser extension, and the WordPress plugin (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by American Design Hub ("we", "us").

By creating an account, generating an API key, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What the Service does

The Service compresses, converts, and resizes image and PDF files that you submit to it. Files are transmitted to our servers, processed, and returned to you.

2. Your files stay yours

• You retain all ownership of and rights to the files you submit.
• You grant us a limited licence to process your files solely to perform the compression, conversion, or resizing you requested — nothing else.
• We do not use your files to train models, share them with third parties, or use them for any purpose beyond fulfilling your request.
• Files are processed in temporary storage and deleted immediately after your request completes. We do not retain copies.

3. You are responsible for what you submit

You confirm that you own or have permission to use the files you submit, and that processing them does not infringe anyone's rights or break any law. You must not use the Service to process content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you have no right to use.

4. Accounts and API keys

• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and API keys secure.
• Usage under your API key is treated as your usage, including usage by anyone you share the key with.
• If a key is compromised, contact us so it can be revoked.
• You must provide accurate account information.

5. Plans, limits, and fair use

Free plans include a monthly allowance stated on our pricing page. Paid plans described as "unlimited" are intended for normal individual or business use — we may contact you if usage is high enough to affect the Service for others, and we reserve the right to apply rate limits to protect availability.

6. Billing and cancellation

• Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment providers. We do not store your card details ourselves.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
• You can cancel at any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.
• Except where required by law, payments already made are non-refundable. If something has gone genuinely wrong, contact us — we would rather sort it out.
• We may change pricing, but not for an already-paid period. Changes take effect from your next renewal, and we will give reasonable notice.

7. Acceptable use

You must not:

• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the Service.
• Resell or redistribute the Service as your own product without a written agreement with us.
• Circumvent usage limits, including by creating multiple accounts to obtain additional free allowance.
• Use the Service to process unlawful content.

8. Availability

We work to keep the Service running reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may be unavailable during maintenance, or for reasons outside our control. We may modify or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice of material changes where we can.

The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or that the Service will be error-free or meet your requirements.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost files arising from your use of the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, unlawful use, or conduct that threatens the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time.

13. Open source components

Some client software we publish — including the WordPress plugin — is released under its own open source licence. That licence governs the software itself; these Terms govern your use of our hosted Service.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The "last updated" date above will change, and we will give notice of material changes where reasonably possible. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the courts of Karachi, Sindh will have jurisdiction over any dispute — except where mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
